Back when they were making that new Charlotte’s Web CGI movie I took a stab at some character design concepts for the spider who had to be photo-real but not so threatening as to be repulsive to the audience.

Another painting in progress, acrylic on wood. It has a chimp, a tiny village, then a self-portrait, then fleshy vegetation nodules, leaves and a mysterious red glowing spot. Stay tuned for progress updates on this new series.
